Penny on the Ground

My Granny taught me that if you see a penny on the ground and it's heads-up, you better pick it up for good luck. If it's tails-up, flip it over so the next person can have a little luck, too. Simple, sweet, and as silly as it sounds, it taught me to think about other people from a young age. Now, every time I spot a penny on the ground, I can't help but think of my Granny.
