The Gifting Cheat Sheet

What started as a beautifully organized spreadsheet eventually gave way to something much simpler: a note in my phone. I keep a running list of the people in my life, and whenever they mention a favorite candy, snack, restaurant, hobby, or something they've been wanting, I write it down next to their name. By the time birthdays and holidays roll around, I don't have to scramble for gift ideas because I already have a cheat sheet full of things I know they'll genuinely love.
